Pastoral Care Team

We rely on your help to keep the Pastoral Care Team up to date with information about people who are in need of pastoral visits at home or in hospital - please don't assume that we already know.

At present the admissions book at Crosshouse or Ayr Hospitals only contains names of patients who have consented to an 'own faith community visit'. If you are a patient being admitted to hospital then the admissions staff should ask you if you would like a visit from a chaplain. If you don't get asked, then please request it. An information leaflet on the admissions process is attached below.

The two main contacts within barony St John's Church for pastoral care are: Alison Buick (01294 464531) for hospital visiting and Liz Clark (01294 552717) for home or nursing home visits. And if you would like the minister to visit for any other reason (or if you would like home communion) please do call the manse on 01294 463571.
