Harvest Project 2011

This harvest time your donations will go to help the Scottish Bible Society's "Bible-a-Month Partnership". This enables the Scottish Bible Society to give the precious of gift of a Bible to someone who longs to have a Bible in their own language but doesn’t earn enough to buy one. Your donation will help the Scottish Bible Society to supply Bibles in languages people understand, in formats suited to their lifestyle and level of literacy and at prices that are affordable even for those living in poor circumstances.

The Bible a Month Partnership was chosen as this year’s Harvest Project because 2011 marks the 400th anniversary of the King James Version of the Bible in English. We have had access to the Bible in our own language for 400 years, yet so many people today still do not have this privilege.

A copy of the SBS Direct Debit Form is attached below which you can download and complete should you wish to give this way. Harvest Project Envelopes for individual donations will be available in church from Sunday 2nd October until the end of November. So please give what you can to spread The Word of God.
